PENDEGLANG, Banten Province (Antara): Landslide in Pandeglang regency, Banten province early Tuesday killed at least two people and four others were suspected still buried by the mud.
Residents of Cadasari district found two bodies of the killed people at 5 a.m. Tuesday and they were still searching four other residents, who were still missing, Antara news agency reported Tuesday.
The incident occurred after heavy rains since Monday also caused 13 other residents wounded.
Spokesman of Banten Police Adj. Comr. Aminudin confirmed the incident, saying that police officers have joined residents to search other victims, who were suspected still buried by the landslide.
Landslides also occurred in different places in Bogor regency, West Java. At least 20 houses were burred after landslide in Jonggol district.
