GORONTALO (Antara): A 5 magnitude undersea earthquake shook the Indonesian province of Gorontalo on Thursday evening, but there were no immediate reports of casualties or damage.
The quake's epicenter was in the Maluku sea at a depth of 98 km, head of the provincial meteorology and geophysics office Kusnobudi said.
Earlier on the day, an earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale shook the southern part of Java island. The quake was centered in the sea 147 km southwest of Sukabumi in West Java.In
