Major gold reserves have been discovered in southeast China's Fujian province, according to local news website Taihainet.
The Fujian
Geological Prospecting Bureau has verified the find in Dehua county after over
a decade of research and investigation.
The mine is
estimated to hold over 10 million tonnes of ores that may produce over 250,000
tonnes of gold. The discovery could also provide important clues for
researchers to find other gold mines.
