TEMPO Interactive, Purwokerto: The Wana Lestari Operation team has confiscated hundreds of illegal logs.
The team, comprised of members of the Central Java Police, of the Banyumas Police and of the East Banyumas Forest Department also arrests smuggler suspects from several locations.
East Banyumas Forest Police Officer, Commissioner Suryono, said that there were 111 teak wood and pine logs found in Kebasen Forest.
“Hundreds of logs were found in residents’ houses,” he said.
